Share your story of how your brand came to be
As a professional doula, Ozzie is seasoned in providing guidance to those looking for alternatives to traditional healthcare. In 2010, Ozzie founded Alternative Mothers Group and later supported the opening of Marin County’s first free-standing birth center. As she became more public about her choice to medicate with cannabis, her community met her with support and curiosity. Oov Lifestyle started as small social gatherings, but Ozzie quickly realized what really needed to happen was mass education. In an effort to reach more people than those just in the surrounding 15 miles, she pivoted to a media-driven lifestyle brand. Oov publishes relatable and informative content through their website as well as their digital and print magazine. Ozzie is a natural community builder who believes by creating safe spaces and fostering positive dialogue, we can celebrate non-conventional health and lifestyle decisions.
What does beauty mean to you?
Knowing who you are and not being afraid to share it with the world.
What are you daily beauty rituals?
My self-care usually happens around 10pm when the kids are fast asleep and emails are responded to. I wash my face (my FAVE thing to do!!) then bathe it in a herbal facial oil. After that I cozy up into bed with my PAX Era while listening to guided meditation and Abraham Hicks . It is everything to me!!
What current projects are you working on?
